SRF reports on Horgen's carsharing success with Sponti-Car

SRF reports on the carsharing offer of the municipality of Horgen

The sustainable mobility offering of the municipality of Horgen draws attention: SRF reported in a recent short podcast about the community-used e-cars, which can be rented by the public outside opening hours and on weekends.

The article demonstrates how innovatively Horgen deploys its vehicle fleet and why the model is convincing both ecologically and economically. Through shared use, fewer people have to own a private car, which not only saves CO₂, but also reduces traffic in the village. At the same time, the municipality benefits financially, because it optimally utilizes its existing vehicles instead of acquiring additional ones.

We are very happy, that SRF has picked up this forward-looking project and thereby shows a broad audience how uncomplicated and sensible car sharing can be in the municipal environment.
